Volunteers cook for the poor

THE Society for Human Development or Persatuan Kemajuan Insan (KESAN) yesterday set up a soup kitchen as part of the group’s annual charity activities during Ramadhan to help poor families who registered under a list provided by the Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB).

The soup kitchen was set up at the Youth Centre in the capital with more than 50 volunteers with the residents of Kampong Ayer as the beneficiaries.
