THE deputy minister of defence continued to bolster Brunei’s bilateral ties with its ASEAN counterparts, following a series of recent calls from several foreign officials.
First Admiral (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz Hj Mohd Tamit met with Nguyen Truong Giang, the outgoing Vietnamese ambassador to the sultanate, at Bolkiah Garrison on Thursday, where they expressed hope for stronger cooperation in defence in the coming years.
