THE Brunei Darussalam Kite Association (PEKIKIK) is looking into organising annual kite festivals in a bid to preserve the sultanate’s traditional sport of kite flying, said its president.
This was said during an interview with media on the sidelines of a kite festival at the Dermaga Diraja Bandar Seri Begawan yesterday that was held in conjunction with the 70th birthday of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
