THE ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN BAC) is pushing to tackle the ‘low hanging fruits’ as part of its agenda for regional reforms that will benefit private sector businesses.
In its latest report to ASEAN leaders, the council has recommended changes in 10 priority areas which are the “most symbolic and high impact”.
These recommendations cover cross-border trade, foreign equity constraints, regional financial ecosystem, development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and the growth accelerator exchange project.
