THE team behind the Yasmine feature film yesterday voiced disappointment over pirated copies of their DVD sold in Brunei, appealing for public support in stamping out copyright infringement.
In a statement issued after illegal copies of Yasmine were found in the black market, the film’s distributor Origin Artistic Management were worried that piracy remains a nationwide problem. .
“It is devastating to see pirated copies still being sold freely in Brunei,” said a representative from the company, urging people to support the film by only buying original copies.
