AN 18-YEAR-OLD girl was among three Bruneians who have been selected to undergo flag carrier Royal Brunei (RB) Airlines’ pilot cadet programme.
Asma Zamriah Hj Ariffin became RB’s seventh female pilot trainee following the contract signing ceremony at the Royal Brunei Recreation Club yesterday.
The three cadet pilots make up RB’s 45th intake after they were selected out of 14 applicants.
In an interview on the sidelines of the signing ceremony, Asma Zamriah said being given the opportunity to train as a cadet pilot was a “once in a lifetime” experience.
