Brunei joins list of most improved countries in Doing Business report

BRUNEI is the most improved country alongside Costa Rica and Kenya in the latest World Bank and International Finance Corporation’s 13th annual Doing Business (DB) report 2016, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said in a statement issued yesterday.

Brunei is now ranked 84th, which is up by 21 notches from 2015 with an increased ‘distance to frontier’ (DTF) score of 62.93 from 58.02, in the report entitled ‘Measuring Regulatory Quality and Efficiency’ which measures and ranks the ease of doing business in 189 economies.
