Prices of goods down by 0.4%

PRICES of goods and services in Brunei in October decreased by 0.4 per cent compared to September on the back of lower cost of furnishing, household equipments and maintenance as well as clothing and footwear, the Department of Economic Planning and Development (JPKE) reported yesterday.

Cost of furnishing, household equipment and routine household maintenance index decreased 2.6 per cent and contributed the most to the overall month on month consumer price index (CPI) decline with 62.1 per cent.
