Two non-governmental organisations yesterday donated a total of $2,466 to the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ Mosque Building Fund.
According to the Department of Mosque Affairs, the donations will be used to build, restore and enhance mosques throughout the sultanate.
Rozan Hj Kaderi, president of the Greenfrog Humanitarian Relief Support Group (KatakIjau), told The Brunei Times during the handover ceremony at the Department of Mosque Affairs that $2,000 was collected from KatakIjau’s Expo Amal Ukhuwah 2015 project at the Indoor Stadium in Berakas.
