A US MILITARY official yesterday called for the strengthening of defence ties through logistics and supporting agreements.
Brigadier General John O’Neil said this would help improve logistics cooperation and interoperability, allowing nations to prepare joint operations with one another to effectively tackle any contingencies such as humanity assistance and disaster response.
He said this at the opening of the 44th Pacific Area Senior Officers Logistics Seminar (PASOLS) at Dewan Indera Samudera, The Empire Hotel & Country Club, yesterday.
