Private sector urged to boost productivity

THE private sector needs to find ways to contribute more to Brunei’s productivity level amid falling oil prices that hurt the country’s growth.

In a dialogue session organised by the Brunei Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI) and the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI), BMCCI’s Senior Member Dr Hj Kamaruddin Dato Seri Paduka Hj Talib said the private sector can increase its productivity and attain its financial targets by aligning its operations with the sultanate’s goal to diversify the economy.
