RB’s $145m pact for 15 PW engines

FLAG carrier Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) has signed a $145 million deal with American aerospace manufacturer Pratt and Whitney for 15 fuel efficient engines to power its fleet of Airbus A320neo (new engine option), the airline said in a press release yesterday.

RB is entering into the next phase of its fleet modernisation programme after signing a purchase agreement for 15 of the PW1100G-JM engines to power seven of its A320neo aircraft.

RB said the delivery for the seven new aircrafts will begin in late 2017.
