THE president of the Brunei Darussalam Nurses Association (PENJURU) yesterday stressed the need to provide opportunities for nurses to upgrade their professional knowledge and skills.
Datin Paduka Hjh Suraya Noraidah Abdullah said nurses are pivotal to health services, and they can anticipate what should be done in providing care for patients.
“Nurses must be given the opportunity to upgrade themselves,” said Datin Hjh Suraya when sharing her views on the occasion of the annual International Nurses Day, which is observed around the world today.
