Two students finish first in Tutong Quran memorisation competition

TWO students emerged as winners of an Al-Quran memorisation competition held yesterday between primary schools in Tutong district.

Nur Ameerah Aleesya Awang Rossahlehzam of Sinaut Primary School, scoring 88 per cent, won the female category while Mohd Raziq Anaqi Suhaili of Nusa Jaya Keriam School outshone his peers by obtaining 93 per cent in the male category.

Following closely in second was Mohd Faris Hisyam Faizal of Chung Hwa Tutong School who scored 91 per cent with Muhammad Alwi Rafian of Binturan Primary School coming in third with 90 per cent.
