Call for Brunei to set up national F&B association

BRUNEI needs to form a national association for the food and beverage sector in order for the industry to go beyond its borders.

This association should cover manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, agriculture product suppliers and distributors to be able to give it one voice to discuss policy issues with the government and regulators, said Dr Siti N Abdul Malek (pic), the director of the ASEAN Food and Beverage Alliance (AFBA) Secretariat.
