SEVEN uniformed officers from Brunei returned home yesterday after a year-long deployment to a peacekeeping mission in Mindanao, Philippines.
The six personnel from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and one officer from the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) were part of the 12th International Monitoring Team, a Malaysian-led peacekeeping force tasked with maintaining the ceasefire between the Philippines government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).
