AMBD mulls allowing licensed money changers to branch out to other districts

AUTORITI Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD), the country’s financial regulator, is looking into the issue of the lack of licensed money changers in other districts.

In response to Wednesday’s article on tourist and residents complaints about the lack of a license money changer in Belait district, AMBD said it is reviewing its money changing business policy.
